In Episode 2 of the “What’s in Your Toolbox?” special podcast series, we begin our tour of diagnostic and assessment tax administration tools by speaking with the Forum on Tax Administration (FTA) about their Maturity Models. Mr. Oliver Petzold from the FTA describes the tool’s key characteristics and elaborates on the tool’s self-reflective nature and scope. He is joined by Mr. Michael Roekaerts and Mr. Tom Boelaert from the Belgian General Administration of Tax Collection and Debt Recovery. Our two guests share with us how Belgium’s experience in leveraging the FTA Maturity Models supported their reform efforts.
