E7.1 Innovations Implemented in Alagoas, Brazil

In June 2017, employees of the State Secretariat of Finance of Alagoas (SEFAZ / AL) received TADAT training. Alagoas was the first state in Brazil to use the TADAT subnational framework to support the development of practices to drive improvements in SEFAZ / AL. The state of Alagoas agreed to disclose the results of the TADAT assessment worldwide. Mr. Luiz Dias de Alencar Neto, Special Secretary of the State Revenue Authority of Alagoas shares his experience with TADAT and discusses the benefits and challenges of its implementation.
